Ayadamola Tanimowo Okunseinde and Salome Asega have created the Iyapo Repository, named after Lilith Iyapo, a black woman and the last remaining semblance of the human race in Octavia Butler’s science-fiction series, Lilith’s Brood. Okunseinde’s works range from painting and speculative design to physically interactive works and explorations of Afrofuturism. He holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design (New York) where he is currently an adjunct faculty member.
